The power of connected breathing Feel welcome in the gentle and powerful bedding of this breathwork circle.

Connected breathing
With connected breathing, we let the inhalation and exhalation follow each other without pauses. You actively breathe into your abdomen and let the exhalation fall passively, then immediately breathe in actively again without pausing, etc. In this way, we fill our system with oxygen and thus take in more oxygen than normal. This way of breathing allows us to reconnect with our body and all kinds of things can happen inside you. You may feel all kinds of sensations and all kinds of emotions may be released. This invites you to be present with everything that is happening in your body at that moment. These can be very pleasant experiences, but sometimes they can also feel less pleasant. Truly feeling what is happening clears things up and literally gives you breathing space. Unprocessed emotions become stuck in our bodies. Think, for example, of a stiff neck, tense shoulders, headaches, stomach aches, etc., to name just a few examples.
Connected breathing is also often called transformational breathing. That is what this breathing does, it brings transformation.
What can you expect from this connected breathing circle?
In the breathing circle with a maximum of 4 to 5 persons, I offer you a gentle and safe environment to engage in connected breathing together with others, yet completely on your own. After entering, we will first do an exercise to slow down and become still, allowing us to arrive within ourselves before taking our places in the circle. Then we take our seats on a mattress. We will briefly go around the circle to introduce ourselves, after which I will explain what we are going to do and demonstrate connected breathing.
We will start with the active phase by starting connected breathing together, which I will guide you through and will then start the music. Music is used in this connected breathing because it can touch our emotional inner world. In addition, breathing together in a group also creates a very special extra dynamic. Although you are together in a group, each person goes to his or her own inner world individually. What comes up is personal to each person. It can also affect others in their process. For example, you may be affected by someone else's crying or other sounds. Just as you can be affected by music, you can also be affected by something that happens to someone else. It's all about energy and frequency. The invitation is always to stay with yourself and be with whatever touches you.
The first active phase lasts about 45 to 60 minutes. I only know the actual length at the moment itself. I sense this intuitively and it varies each time. After this there is an integration period for you and your body.
When everybody has come back again there will be warm tea, delicious fruit and some other healthy snacks to enjoy and fully come back. Here will also be space to share about your experience. This is an invitation and certainly not a must. Stay true to you, that is always the most important!
What will it bring me?
Deep relaxation
True and deep connection with yourself and others
Healing
Room in your body and mind
Raising your frequency
Inspiration
And so much more if you give yourself the time and permission to come regularly.
These Breathwork Circles take place once a month on a Saturday afternoon in St. Tecla de Basto / Arnoia, 10 min from Celorico de Basto.
