Soulwork Intensive Retraite in Noord Portugal

A personalised, fully atuned one-to-one transformation week.

Where you’ll be given the space to connect deeply with yourself in this beautiful and peaceful spot surrounded by nature.

A week in which nothing is compulsory and everything is welcome.

I don’t believe that people get stuck because there’s still something they need to learn.

Deep down, we usually already know what is true.
It’s just that, along the way, we’ve become so preoccupied with surviving, adapting, worrying, carrying on and being strong, that we’ve gradually lost touch with that inner truth.

My work, therefore, is not to tell you who you are.
My work is to create a space in which you can reconnect with yourself.

That is exactly what this Soulwork Intensive is.
Not a retreat where you follow a programme or move from one activity to the next. Not a week where you have to improve yourself.
But a week in which everything revolves around slowing down. Feeling. Discovering. Remembering.
In which you’re given the space to let go of what no longer suits you and to reconnect with who you truly are.

I don’t work according to a fixed method.
I work from a place of presence.
From intuition.
From whatever chooses to reveal itself in the moment.

That requires trust. From you and from me.
That is precisely why I choose not to set out a full programme in advance. Not because there is no direction, but because your system often knows far better what is needed than our minds could ever conceive.

Sometimes a conversation brings about exactly the shift you’ve been longing for for years.
Sometimes a single breath opens up something that words have never been able to reach.
Sometimes the silence speaks louder than a thousand insights.
And sometimes the greatest shift happens during a walk through the woods, whilst nobody needs to solve anything.

This week is an invitation to stop searching.
To stop trying to fix yourself.
And to slowly come home to yourself again.

You’ll be staying with us at Quinta Sufala, a place nestled in the heart of northern Portugal’s countryside. Surrounded by woods, birds, fruit trees, our vegetable garden, the yurt and the rhythm of life, a sense of calm will naturally begin to settle within you.

From the moment you arrive, you won’t have to think about anything for a while. We’ll take care of the meals, the accommodation and the guidance. You can simply be here.
And that’s often where real change begins.

After this week, I can’t promise you what answers you’ll find.
Nor can I tell you exactly what insights you’ll gain.
But I can promise you that I’ll be right by your side throughout the whole week. That I’ll listen to what’s said and to what hasn’t yet found words. That I’ll adapt to your pace and that I’ll invite you to look honestly at what arises, without judgement.

I don’t believe that people need to become whole.
I believe that we are allowed to unlearn everything we never truly were.

And when that happens…
more peace naturally arises.
More clarity.
More gentleness.
More trust.

Not because someone has given it to you.
But because it was always there.

Additional option

Horse-assisted coaching

We can also include coaching sessions with horses, facilitated by Julia Jaspers from Equilibrio.

Julia is an experienced coach and has been working with her horses for many years. Horses are brilliant at acting as mirrors for your behaviour, showing you exactly where there are areas for improvement or where attention is needed.

As well as sharing the same vision in our work regarding what we aim to offer our guests and clients, we both recognise how our respective approaches can work beautifully together and complement one another for some people.

You’ll be staying with us at Quinta Sufala for the whole week, with the rest of the week’s programme continuing as previously described. Following a discussion with Julia, we’ll assess exactly what’s required, and I’ll take you to Julia for your sessions and collect you again afterwards.

The cost of working with Julia is not included and will be clarified following an online introductory chat with Julia, once she has been able to assess and discuss with you what is required.

Would you rather not come alone or specifically with someone.

It is also possible to come on retreat with two people. Think of your partner, friend, brother/sister/parent etc. It can be very valuable to do a week's retreat together. It is important to note, though, that this is an intensive Soul Coaching retreat and not a holiday. Which of course is not to say that there won't be wonderful ‘holiday kind of moments’. Sessions can be intense and space is needed afterwards to integrate. If you both can handle this and can give each other this space, then you are also very welcome with two people.

To be clear, everyone has their own trajectory and there may be common ground. It is not the intention that one person does a trajectory and the other just ‘comes along’ for support.

You will both sleep in the guest house. There is a double bed, but if desired, a second sleeping place can also be created in the guest house. In the summer period we can set up our nice big tent if you like to experience even more of an ‘outdoor feeling’.

Please note that the use of Alcohol and other narcotics is not allowed during this week. Also no plant medicines.

If, based on what you have read here, you are interested in coming or have any questions, I invite you to contact me. You can do so here.
I will then contact you.
